DaStyracosaurus: Why is it called Staircaseosaurus?

This beauty is named Styracosaurus, and it was very beautiful! Styracosaurus means spike lizard, referring to the spiked frill which helps it look more intimidating. Its fossils were found in Canada. It lived 73-77 million years ago. It's 18 feet long. Thats probably three times the length of my dad.
Styracosaurus was a heavily built dinosaur weighing up to 3 tons (I can understand why it's called heavily built)!

This is a great example of a beautiful dinosaur. See the frill on top of it's head.

 See you next time!
