This beast's name is the Carnotaurus meaning 'meat eating bull lizard', derived from the Latin carno ('flesh') and taurus ('bull'). It gets that name from the two horns that adorn its head. Its fossils were found in Argentina. It lived 80 million years ago which was in the Cretaceous period (why do they need to pick the most complicated names for these things?). It was 25 feet long (I never want to meet this thing!)
