Stegosaurus means 'Plated Lizard' and if you've seen the image you would know it's called that because it plaits it's hair (if it had hair). It lived 150-145 million years ago in Africa, China, Mongolia, Europe, Colorado and Wyoming. It was 30-40 feet long and weighed about 6,800 pounds!!!!!!!!!!!
