Stegosaurus means 'Plated Lizard' and if you've seen the image you would know it's called that because it plaits it's hair (if it had hair). It lived 150-145 million years ago in Africa, China, Mongolia, Europe, Colorado and Wyoming. It was 30-40 feet long and weighed about 6,800 pounds!!!!!!!!!!!

Da Spinosaurus (meaning spine lizard) is possibly the biggest carnivorous dinosaur ever to roam the earth. It can grow up to a length of 59 feet long and lived in Northern Africa 97-112 million years ago.
It gets the name from the sail on it's back.
